For Your Emmy® consideration, actress Shawntay Dalon, has been hitting the ground running! In the past year, Shawntay has completed two seasons of Comedy Central's Detroiters playing the recurring role of Chrissy Duvet-Cramblin. She has played the role of Melissa on Netflix's I Think You Should Leave and Shawntay recently landed a recurring role on season two of Freeform's award winning show Good Trouble as Lisa Hill. Even with these accomplishments on her resume, Shawntay prides herself most as still being the Youth Advocate that she's been for over 10 years. Once a depressed hurting teen, Shawntay found joy in helping other teens through their pain. She found passion in helping others find and see their God given purpose. Be it acting, writing, dance, Spoken Word, or a simple ear to listen, Shawntay chooses to use her gifts to spread Faith, Love, and Courage.
