DEBLON JACKSON

Deblon is a native of Detroit and veteran flautist of The United States Air Force Band. She received her Bachelors of Music Education from The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Deblon has been a guest artist and performer throughout the United States, Paris, Germany and Italy. Her professional appearances include performances with Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Milt Jackson, Johnny Rodriguez, Marcus Belgrave, and Jazz pianist Teddy Harris Jr. Her new project “FLuTopia” is scheduled for release in 2019. It was written, produced, and arranged by Jerald Daemyon and features Jazz guitarist Stanley Cooper and Contemporary Jazz saxophonist Kevin Levi. Deblon is the founder of Classique Productions, which is dedicated to preserving Jazz music among young people in urban communities. Currently Deblon Jackson is on the Board of Directors for New Generations Foundation.
